Want to hear something weird?

My mom is going in for heart surgery again tomorrow, right? And we don't expect anything to happen, of course; it's the same type of surgery as last time, and she should be just fine.

And, for those of you who don't know, my parents are getting divorced.

Guess where my dad is going when my mom has her surgery?

Hawaii.

I mean, I know the whole divorce thing is hard and all, but Hawaii? What the fuck?

I hope to God he's going for business and not pleasure. And if he is going for business, you'd think he could get out of it so he could be home for my mom's surgery.

I haven't talked with him for a few weeks, so I guess I'll find out what the deal is once I get back to Libertyville.

I almost kind of don't want to know what the whole deal is, you know?
