Frances and I have broken up. We've both decided that it is in both of our best interests, both in terms of health and sanity. We are also both fine with the decision, as we've been discussing it for quite a while now.

I bartended for a friend's party last night, and it was a hell of a lot of fun. Not only did I get to drink as many Guinesses as I wanted to, but apparently women are just attracted to bartenders. While we were dating, an ex told me that she would be quite unhappy if I became a bartender, as they tended to get women (she went back on this statement later after applying for a job at Hooters). I didn't really believe her at the time, but now I have experienced it, and have therefore decided that I need to bartend more often.

I am visiting Libertyville this weekend for a short while in order to hang out with Mike, and hopefully see my dad before heading back down to CU.
